Things We Love: Chef and Author, Jennifer Chandler
This month we’re highlighting some of our favorite people, products, and services, and I cannot WAIT to introduce you to them! Many of the folks I’ll be telling you about are current and former Egoscue clients, and I always love supporting those who have supported us!
We’re kicking off “Things We Love” with chef and author, Jennifer Chandler. I first met Jennifer about 7 years ago, but she had been an Egoscue client for some years before. Having found her calling in the kitchen, Jennifer has relied on Egoscue to keep her cooking pain free!
A contributing writer to several magazines such as Prevention Magazine, All You, MidSouth Magazine, Nashville Home & Garden, Memphis Magazine, Edible Memphis, Real Food, Pilates Style and Delta Magazine, Jennifer is also been a contributing food columnist for The Commercial Appeal (Memphis’ newspaper).
Jennifer has appeared on numerous broadcast cooking segments including Food Network’s “Dinner Impossible”, Better TV (Meredith Corp., syndicated in 84 markets in the U.S.) and has also been a guest on Martha Stewart Radio on Sirius/XM.
For two years, she also served as national spokesperson for French’s. In this role, she made appearances across the country on TV, satellite media tours, radio, and at special events sharing recipes that highlighted how pantry staples like mustards and French fried onions can easily add lots of flavor to a dish.
In 2011, she jumped back into the restaurant business as a consultant and designed the concept, menu, and recipes for Cheffie’s Café in Memphis, TN. Nominated as best new restaurant in both the Memphis Magazine and Memphis Flyer’s annual reader polls, Cheffie’s Café is a gourmet “build-your-own” sandwich and salad shop.
Jennifer’s motto is: Good Food Simply. Dinnertime can be stress-free and an enjoyable experience for all, even the home chef!
While it’s true you can find all of Jennifer’s books on amazon.com, what’s really cool is that she’s giving away a copy to one of you! In order to be entered into today’s contest, go “Like” both the Egoscue Nashville Facebook page and Cook with Jennifer…Good Food Simply, and also follow both Egoscue Nashville and Jennifer on Twitter (assuming you’re on Twitter!). Then, share the Facebook status with your friends, and comment on the Egoscue Nashville page that you’ve done so. If you’re on Twitter, just retweet the link to this post. When you do that, I’ll get notified that you’ve done so, and you’ll be eligible to receive Jennifer’s book! It’s that simple!
1. Like and follow.
2. Share the status/retweet with your social circle.
3. Comment that you’ve shared the status (retweets will automatically notify me).
4. You’re entered!
5. Win and enjoy!
As I said before, I’m so excited to introduce you to some of my favorite people, products, and services. Please help us share the word about the “Things We Love”!
