Dr. Mercola Endorses Egoscue…Again!
I’ve posted about Dr. Joseph Mercola before (read them HERE and HERE). For those of you not familiar with Dr. Mercola, he’s one of the leading natural health and wellness physicians, and his website contains a TON of excellent information.
For a while now, Dr. Mercola has sang the praises of Egoscue. He used Egoscue to eliminate his back pain and still uses it to live an active, pain free life. Just last week he posted another article on his natural suggestions for eliminating back pain. As expected, he mentioned Egoscue:
To help address back pain caused by excessive sitting, I also recommend Egoscue Exercises, a series of stretches and special exercises that help restore your muscular balance and skeletal alignment. I often spend at least one hour or more doing an Egoscue exercise called “The Tower.” It’s simple – you only need to lie on the floor and allow your pelvis and thoracic spine to relax. I found this exercise tremendously helpful for treating my chronic low back pain, which is now gone.
