Chronic PainThe vast majority of our clients come to us in pain. If I had to guess, I’d say upwards of 95% or more come because they hurt. And, nearly 100% of them have been told they hurt because they have a torn meniscus, bulging disc, plantar fasciitis, or some other symptom, and they have the x-ray or MRI to prove it.

However, I like to challenge my client’s line of thinking a bit. I’m not afraid to ask the bigger question…the deeper question, and get to why they really hurt. Yes, they may, in fact, have a symptom that is painful, but I also like to get my clients thinking about the emotional side of chronic pain, because a large portion of them don’t realize that emotional stress and pain play a huge role in how they feel physically.
