Exercises for Tennis
On this video, I’m accompanied by our other therapist, Buffy Baker. Some of you, especially locally, may know Buffy, as she was an excellent tennis player in high school at Harpeth Hall. Buffy played tennis at Florida State University and then went on to coach collegiately at the Division I level for several years. She was elected to the FSU hall of fame in 1997.
So, if there’s one person I’m bringing in to do a tennis video…it’s Buffy! Here we take you through four e-cises that you can do right before you play to eliminate your pain, get you more functional, and help prevent injury while you’re on the court. Be sure to take the e-cises in order:
QUESTIONS: WHAT CHANGED AFTER YOU DID THE E-CISES? DID YOU FEEL MORE BALANCED? WERE YOU ABLE TO HIT YOUR FOREHAND AND BACKHAND EQUALLY?
