Kyle Adams’ Pro Day at Purdue

I’ve had the opportunity to work with several professional athletes and several future professional athletes. I recently had the privilege of working with two college football players who are training for the upcoming NFL draft. One of those players was Kyle Adams, a tight end from Purdue University. Kyle worked his tail off to get functional over the past two months, and it paid off Friday at his Pro Day. The work ethic that I’ve seen from Kyle will serve him well at the next level. There is no doubt in my mind that Kyle will continue to outwork everyone else to earn a spot on an NFL roster next fall. Here’s what Sports Illustrated had to say about his workout yesterday (photo courtesy of bigten.org):

At Purdue’s pro day, underrated tight end Kyle Adams performed better than expected. The pass catching specialist ran 4.79 in the 40 after measuring 6-4½, 257 pounds. His vertical jump was 33.5 inches and three cone 7.1, marks which would have put him above the median line at the combine had Adams received an invitation.

Congrats, Kyle! Keep doing your menus, and your hard work will pay off. I’m excited to see you in the NFL next fall.
